Laundry Secrets

It is nice to look at if the white clothes you wear looks so white and for dark or black colors looks so dark. But due to long time of wash and wear, it becomes grey for white color and faded for colored clothes. But worry no more because there is already a cheap solution to the problem, making white color clothes, get whiter and darker for dark colored clothes. Check this out.

Whiter whites.
 Have you noticed your white T-shirt tend to become grey or yellowish? Or your white socks looks so dirty no matter how many times you’ve washed it? Try this trusted and proven solution to make whites stay white.
1. Baking Soda. Soak in a solution of 4 liters water and 1 cup baking soda.
2. Aspirin. Soak in hot water in which you have dissolved 5 aspirin tablets (325mg).
3. Vinegar. Add I cup of white vinegar to the washing machine’s rinse cycle.

Blacker blacks and darker darks
Though faded color garments becomes a fashion but sometimes it feels awkward to use it as if  you went to shopping for a long years. A few tips for keeping this garments looking new through the years.
1. Coffee or tea. For black clothes, add 2 cups brewed coffee or tea to the rinse cycle of the washing machine.
2. Salt. For dark colors like navy blue or plum, add 1 cup of table salt to the rinse cycle.
3. Vinegar and salt. In order to keep denim from fading quickly, soak jeans in salt water or make a 50:50 solution of water and white vinegar before the first wash. Turn the jeans inside out to balance the color.
